Basketball Game Preview: Holbrook Roadrunners vs. Show Low Cougars

Holbrook and Show Low are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. Both will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Holbrook will be strutting in after a win while Show Low will be coming in after a defeat.

If Show Low heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Holbrook took over last week. Holbrook managed a 42-36 victory over Alchesay on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after a string of 11 wins, Show Low's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Snowflake.

The win got Holbrook back to even at 13-13. As for Show Low, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 20-6.

Things could have been worse for Holbrook, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-29 loss to Show Low in their previous meeting two weeks ago.
