Soccer Recap: Manatee Finishes Even with Southeast

For the first time this season, Manatee was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Southeast Seminoles could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Anthony Ramos and Aurelius Pena scored both of Manatee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Manatee's draw gives them a new season record of 6-2-1. As for Southeast, they moved theirs to 3-5-3.

Manatee will head out to take on Lakewood Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lakewood Ranch will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Manatee surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southeast, they will be playing at home against Bradenton Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Southeast is facing Bradenton Christian at the right time seeing as Bradenton Christian is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
