Soccer Recap: Covington Comes Up Short

Covington was the 3-1 winner over Milan when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Covington have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Covington's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Milan, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-5-1.

Looking ahead, Covington will head out to take on Fayette Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jackson Central Merry at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
