Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Central Bobcats came up short against the Maricopa Rams and fell 4-2. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jorge De Leon and Jose Perez Hernandez scored both of Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Maricopa, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Youngker at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. After both having extra time off, Maricopa and Poston Butte will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
