There's no place like home for Basha, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They skirted past the Perry Pumas 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Pumas: they've now won seven in a row.

Brie Fynan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Makaila Quinney, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Vaeh Luna, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Basha's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Perry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Basha will welcome Casteel at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
