Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Washington can now relate to. They fell just short of the Gibson Southern Titans by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Washington were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Gibson Southern earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Washington's goal came courtesy of Jackson Brower, who's now up to two this season.

With the defeat, Washington broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-6-1. As for Gibson Southern, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season.
