Softball Recap: Mohawk Comes Up Short

Mohawk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Culver Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-6 on Tuesday.

Mohawk's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Culver, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mohawk will face off against Monroe at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Culver, they will take on East Linn Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
