Softball Recap: Lindsay Finds Home Field Redemption Against Bryson

There's no place like home for Lindsay, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by an 18-3 margin over the Bryson Cowboys on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Kylie Hielckert and Reagan Swaney did most of the damage at the plate: Hielckert got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Swaney went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Swaney has posted since back in April of 2024. Austin Henderson was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Lindsay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .857. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lindsay has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13.8 runs. Bryson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
