Half Moon Bay extended their winning streak to eight on Tuesday, bumping them up to 16-9. They came out on top against the Terra Nova Tigers by a score of 7-3. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Kai Kung got the start for Half Moon Bay and what a start it was: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Kung has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Half Moon Bay let Riley Jackson and Ian Ehrhardt run wild. Jackson got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, while Ehrhardt went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Ehrhardt has posted since back in May of 2025. Paxton Holden was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

As for Terra Nova, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

On Terra Nova's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Wilson, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Half Moon Bay will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
