Basketball Game Preview: Edinburg Wildcats vs. Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes

The Edinburg Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Edinburg's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Edinburg breezed past Mt. Olive to the tune of 67-22. Edinburg hasn't had any issues with Mt. Olive recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Griggsville-Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-43 heartbreaker at the hands of South County. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tornadoes have suffered since January 16th.

Griggsville-Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Edinburg, their win bumped their record up to 21-3.
