Basketball Recap: McPherson Comes Up Short

McPherson was the 38-31 winner over Hutchinson when they last played one another back in February of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The McPherson Bullpups came up short against the Hutchinson Salthawks on Saturday, falling 54-31. The Bullpups have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McPherson's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Hutchinson, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McPherson will face off against Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hutchinson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Maize South at 6:00 p.m.
