Basketball Recap: Columbia Academy Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Columbia Academy challenged Presbyterian Christian on Saturday. The Columbia Academy Cougars were dealt a 55-27 defeat at the hands of the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats. The Cougars have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Columbia Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Presbyterian Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Columbia Academy will venture away from home to square off against Silliman Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Presbyterian Christian will take on Richton in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
