They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-11 win over the American Falls Beavers on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since April 30, 2024.

Snake River got a massive performance out of Tessa Mitchell, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Mitchell a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Harlee Lane, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Snake River was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Snake River's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-14. As for American Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Snake River will host Preston at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for American Falls, they will be taking part in a tournament against Salmon at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
