JSerra Catholic won the last time they faced Santa Margarita and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

While JSerra Catholic won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 29-27.

Makayla Ziegler paced JSerra Catholic's offense, picking up 17 kills. Ziegler got some help from Catherine Beadles and her 30 assists. Finally, Ziegler was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

JSerra Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Santa Margarita, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
