Perry-Lecompton lost against Riley County back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kaws fell 2-0 to the Falcons. The Kaws' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Perry-Lecompton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Paxton Damme paced Perry-Lecompton's offense, picking up ten kills. Damme got some help from Emmy Reed and her 17 assists.

Perry-Lecompton now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Riley County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
