Softball Recap: Middlesex Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Middlesex and King & Queen Central pushed the score to 21-3 the last time they played King & Queen Central, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Chargers never let the Royal Tigers get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since May 14, 2024.

Middlesex has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for King & Queen Central, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
