Murphy had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Hayesville on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand the Yellowjackets a 6-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for Murphy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Coming up, Murphy will challenge Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hayesville, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Summit Charter Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 24th.
