Basketball Recap: Beloved Community Charter Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newark Central, Beloved Community Charter was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 20-16 W over the Ferris Bulldogs. The 20-point effort marked the Owls' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Beloved Community Charter's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Ferris, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beloved Community Charter will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Academy Charter at 4:30 p.m. on February 21st. As for Ferris, they will head out to square off against Bergenfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
