Basketball Recap: Elkhart's Win Ends Ten-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Buffalo typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Elkhart proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 47-35 victory over the Buffalo Bison. This was a revenge game for the Elks: when they faced off against the Bison back in December of 2024, they had to take a 53-33 defeat.

Elkhart's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-18. As for Buffalo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elkhart will venture away from home to take on Groesbeck at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Elkhart is facing Groesbeck at the right time seeing as Groesbeck is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Buffalo, they will head out on the road to face off against Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairfield will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Buffalo surely won't give up without a fight.
