Baseball Game Preview: Galt Warriors vs. Rosemont Wolverines

The Galt Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Rosemont Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Galt took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Rosemont by a score of 6-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Nick Reid made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Anthony Trejo was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Galt now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rosemont, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1.
