Baseball Recap: Kent Denver Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

While Kent Denver's win against Jefferson Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sun Devils' pitcher stepped up to hand the Jaguars a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. The one-run effort marked the Sun Devils' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Not much got past Will Goldmanis, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep Jefferson Academy off the board.

On the hitting side, Kent Denver's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Levi Pollyea, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
