Basketball Recap: Summerfield Takes a Loss

Summerfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 55-41 to Family Community Christian. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Family Community Christian earlier this season, when they won 47-44.

Summerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Family Community Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-21 record.

Summerfield is taking a road trip to take on Gibsland-Coleman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Family Community Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Caldwell Parish at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Family Community Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
