Har-Ber got themselves on the board against Kickapoo on Friday, but Kickapoo never followed suit. They had just enough and edged out the Chiefs 1-0. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won six in a row.

Har-Ber's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was NASH JEFFUS, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Har-Ber pushed their record up to 20-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Kickapoo, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Har-Ber will venture away from home to square off against Willard at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
