Volleyball Recap: Metea Valley Comes Up Short

Metea Valley lost against Wheaton-Warrenville South back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18.

Ryan Da Silva paced Metea Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Da Silva were helped by Om Patel and Rushil Gandhi, who contributed seven assists each.

Metea Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-6.

Metea Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Naperville North on the 15th. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Lincoln-Way East on the 15th.
