Soccer Game Preview: Lynbrook vs. Gilroy

The Lynbrook Vikings will take on the Gilroy Mustangs in a holiday battle at at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. Lynbrook is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

While Lynbrook didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-12-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Mission San Jose with a sharp 4-0 win on Thursday. Preston Kao had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Gilroy hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Neither they nor Christopher could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Gilroy's draw gives them a new season record of 4-0-2. As for Lynbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
