 Winslow was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They fell  6-2 to the Oceanside Mariners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Winslow of the  18-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April.
  Davian Costigan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 3-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Winslow  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with eight  strikeouts. That's the most  strikeouts they've managed all season.
 Winslow's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Oceanside, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season.
 Winslow will be playing at home against Cony at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Oceanside, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Belfast at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Oceanside's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so Belfast's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
