Recap: Jordan Warriors vs. Monterey Plainsmen
On Friday, Jordan was beaten by Monterey 83-46. Jordan was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-21.
Aaliyah Chavez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Monterey, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Chavez has scored at least 25% of Monterey's points. Another player making a difference was Ambrosia Cole, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
This is the second loss in a row for Jordan and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Monterey, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Jordan's road trip will continue as they head out to face Paetow at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Monterey, they will square off against Flower Mound at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
