Sophie Polter posted a new career-high in runs on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she scored three runs and stole a base. Those runs marked the first that she has scored this season.

Polter's strong effort led Independence over Brooklyn and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
