Football Game Preview: Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks vs. Napa Grizzlies + How To Watch

The Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks will venture away from home to square off against the Napa Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tamalpais has given up an average of 27 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Tamalpais ended up a good deal behind Petaluma and lost 42-25. The Red Tailed Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite their defeat, Tamalpais saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Cole Kramlich, who picked up 132 receiving yards and two scores, was perhaps the best of all. Henry Tuttle was another key signal caller, throwing for 405 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Napa and Justin-Siena, and Napa kept the tradition alive. The Grizzlies took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-10 victory over the Braves. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Grizzlies' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Napa's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Tamalpais, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Tamalpais was able to grind out a solid victory over Napa when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 26-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Tailed Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
