Baseball Recap: St. Maries Comes Up Short

St. Maries's last matchup with Grangeville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks lost 11-0 to the Bulldogs. The game marked the first time this season in which the Lumberjacks were not able to get on the board.

St. Maries is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Grangeville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

St. Maries didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-6 loss against Priest River on the 27th. As for Grangeville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 30-0 victory against Kellogg on the 27th.
