Softball Recap: Edinburg Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Edinburg's offense. They came up short against the Weslaco Panthers on Friday, falling 15-0. The Bobcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Edinburg's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Weslaco, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Edinburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Edinburg North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Weslaco will take on rival Economedes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
