Football Recap: Baldwin County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Baldwin County extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Saraland Spartans. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 55-7 to the Spartans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Saraland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 38.5 points this season.

A big part of Saraland's win came down to the chemistry between Jamison Roberts and his top target Deshawn Spencer. Roberts threw for 206 yards and two touchdowns while Spencer gained 96 total yards and two touchdowns.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Baldwin County will challenge rival Murphy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Saraland is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Paul's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Roberts and Hayden Fincher.
