Recap: Oak Grove Warriors vs. Biloxi Indians
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Oak Grove Warriors had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Biloxi at home to the tune of 55-14. Considering Oak Grove has won four contests by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Aj Maddox looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 175 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Pj Woodland did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The win (which was Oak Grove's third in a row) raised their record to 9-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.67 points. As for Biloxi, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Oak Grove will face off against Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Biloxi does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
