Soccer Recap: Bluefield Comes Up Short

Bluefield lost against Summit Christian Academy on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Beavers lost 7-1 to the Falcons. Bluefield were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Chris Mills, which was the first he's scored this season.

Bluefield dropped their record down to 3-6-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Summit Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-0-2 record this season.

Bluefield will take on Midland Trail at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will face off against Calvary Baptist Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
