Softball Game Preview: MacArthur Brahmas vs. Jay Mustangs

The MacArthur Brahmas will head out on the road to square off against the Jay Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. MacArthur has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

MacArthur came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Southwest, falling 14-7. The Brahmas have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Sienna Richmond was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Tober, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Jay fell victim to South San Antonio and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Bobcats.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Jay, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1.

Everything went MacArthur's way against Jay in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as MacArthur made off with a 19-1 win. Do the Brahmas have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
