Softball Game Preview: Lake Dallas Falcons vs. Panther Creek Panthers

For the second straight game, Lake Dallas will face off against Panther Creek. The Falcons will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Dallas was handed a 11-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Panther Creek 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since March 1st.

For Panther Creek's part, Reagan Hill put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off six hits. Hill was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Shae Tavaii was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Madison Campbell was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Panther Creek is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-7. As for Lake Dallas, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
