Basketball Recap: Reeltown Takes a Loss

Reeltown was the 55-38 winner over Holtville when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Reeltown Rebels took a blow against the Holtville Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 43-13. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Reeltown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Holtville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-2.

Reeltown and Beulah will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Holtville, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Booker T. Washington Magnet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Holtville is facing Booker T. Washington Magnet at the right time seeing as Booker T. Washington Magnet is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
