Soccer Recap: Puyallup Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

After losing to Curtis the last time they met, Puyallup decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Puyallup put the hurt on Curtis with a sharp 4-1 win on Thursday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Puyallup's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked first, while Curtis is ranked 62nd).

Puyallup's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five matches. As for Curtis, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
