Hesperia Christian had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Big Bear on Wednesday. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 22-13 margin over the Bears. Considering the Patriots have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Eden Skinner was incredible, firing off two home runs, nine RBI, and five runs while going 5-for-6. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Elyse VanderWeide was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Hesperia Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Big Bear only posted an OBP of .425.

Hesperia Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Big Bear, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12-1.
