Soccer Recap: Piedmont Takes a Loss

Piedmont and Owasso squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Piedmont had to settle for second. They lost 5-1 to the Rams. While losing is never fun, Piedmont can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Owasso are ranked third).

Piedmont's loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Owasso, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Piedmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Owasso, they will challenge Norman North on Friday. Owasso will need to watch out since Norman North have now posted at least four goals in their last three games.
