Recap: Locust Grove Wildcats vs. Dutchtown Bulldogs
The Locust Grove Wildcats lost against the Dutchtown Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Locust Grove fell 41-30 to Dutchtown. Locust Grove has not had much luck with Dutchtown recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Locust Grove's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aijah Manning , who scored 16 points. Manning scored a full 53.3% of Locust Grove's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Alexis Luke was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Locust Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Dutchtown, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
Locust Grove will head out on the road to face off against Jones County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dutchtown, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ola at 6:00 p.m. Ola is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
