Volleyball Recap: Moon Valley Comes Up Short

Moon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dysart Demons.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 23-25, 25-9.

Orion Amouzou paced Moon Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Amouzou got some help from Oscar Granados and his nine assists. Granados was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Moon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Dysart, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Moon Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Goldwater on the 1st. Dysart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
