Volleyball Recap: Northglenn Takes a Loss

Northglenn lost against Thornton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Norsemen took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 17-25, 25-23.

Gabbie Leialoha paced Northglenn's offense, picking up eight kills. Leialoha got some help from Alejandra Franco and her 12 assists. Leialoha was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Northglenn's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Thornton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Northglenn has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Wheat Ridge on the 5th. As for Thornton, they will face off against Manual at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
