Soccer Recap: Lyons Takes a Loss

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Lyons was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Hinsdale Central Red Devils. Lyons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hinsdale Central apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Lyons has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season. As for Hinsdale Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Lyons didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against St. Charles East on the 1st. As for Hinsdale Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Fremd on the 1st.
