Volleyball Recap: Edison Vikings vs. Franklin Yellowjackets
Edison lost against Franklin last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Edison Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin Yellowjackets.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 17-25, 25-17, 25-18.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Franklin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karen Castro, who had 23 digs and two aces. Castro is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Carmen Walker, who had 11 blocks, five kills, and four digs.
Edison's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Franklin, the victory got them back to even at 18-18.
As of now, neither Edison nor Franklin have any future games scheduled.
