Basketball Recap: Trinity Catholic Find Success

The Trinity Catholic Celtics were able to grind out a solid victory over the Eastside Rams on Saturday, taking the game 30-22. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Celtics.

Trinity Catholic can attribute much of their success to Jayhanna Owusu, who posted 12 points and six boards.

Trinity Catholic smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Trinity Catholic's record now sits at 10-7. As for Eastside, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Catholic will welcome Crystal River at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastside, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bradford at 7:00 p.m.
