 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fallston had no problem doing just that  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the North East Indians as they made off with  a  9-2 win. With that  victory, Fallston brought their scoring average up to 6.2  runs per game.
  Drew Rommel made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Rommel has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances. Rommel was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-2 with  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Zach Stromberger, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Aidan Deck, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and a  triple.
 The  win (which was Fallston's third in a row) raised their record to 14-5. As for North East, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
 Fallston will square off against Parkside on Friday. Fallston is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a four-game streak of away losses. North East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
