Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Pinewood came out on top against Priory by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for Pinewood in their matchups with Priory: they've now won three in a row.

Pinewood was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 19-25, 25-19.

Mailey Wang paced Pinewood's offense, picking up 14 kills. Wang got some help from Caitlin Yamaguchi and her 18 assists. Yamaguchi was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Pinewood's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Priory, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinewood will take on Mills at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Priory, they will host Castilleja at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
