Washington Hornets walked away with  a   58-45  victory over the Bishop Kelley Comets  on Tuesday thanks in part to  Johnson, who  went 7 of 17  en route to 17 points along with eight  rebounds and three  steals. She has been hot, having  posted 15 or more  points the last seven times she's  played.
 The team also got some help courtesy of  Rhyian Mayberry, who  posted ten points and three  steals. She is trending in the right direction considering she's  improved her point production for three straight games.
 Loss or not, Bishop Kelley got some senior leadership from  Anne Blankenship and  Caroline Rabb.  Blankenship  dropped  a double-double on 11  points and 13  boards, while  Rabb  went 6 for 8  on her way to 12 points. Blankenship has become a key player for Bishop Kelley: the team is 4-1 when she posts  at  least  eight  rebounds, but 2-4 otherwise.  Kennedy Wray was another key player,  putting up ten  points.
Booker T. Washington pushed their record up to 12-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Bishop Kelley,  with the  defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.
