Aurora had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 21-point drubbing they dealt York on Thursday. The Aurora Huskies were the clear victor by a 63-42 margin over the York Dukes. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, York still got an impressive performance from Ryan Huston, who went 5-for-12 en route to 20 points and seven boards. That was a full 47.6% of York's points, marking the eighth time in a row Huston has posted more than a third of the team's points. Cayce Hager was another key player, putting up seven points and seven rebounds.

Aurora's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points over those games. As for York, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.
